Company announces a series of corporate milestones, including over 41 million studies stored in its InDex Enterprise Archive, success in new healthcare market sectors and major new relationships with integrated delivery networks (IDNs). According to the longtime image archiving services leader, these recent achievements in today’s challenging economy, reflect the growing benefits of InSite One’s advanced, open technology and flexible pricing models.
In December, the InSite One centralized repository for medical imaging and related healthcare data reached over 41 million studies stored – equivalent to over 2.8 billion diagnostic images.
The InSite One application-neutral data repository holds images and related reports for all InDex service offerings, which range from on-and off-site primary archiving systems to advanced Web communications, data distribution and disaster recovery solutions.

During December, InSite One also began the security validation process for the Theatre Image Repository (TIR) project from the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Clinical Systems Program Management Office (ICSPMO), representing the company’s entrance into the government sector. With Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation process certification, InSite One is positioned to participate in future DoD health facilities projects. Under the current agreement, the company will provide centralized, long-term storage for medical images from soldiers in combat zones worldwide, enabling care givers, whether located onsite or in US VA hospitals, to access a soldier’s comprehensive imaging history.

In December InSite One entered into a cross-licensing relationship with MEDecision, a leading provider of collaborative health care management solutions to health care payers for their iHistory™ technology. MEDecision will offer InSite One’s patented InDex Enterprise Archiving services to healthcare providers and payers to support cross-enterprise information exchange.
